Fantag Mobile App - How it Works
The following screens show the flow of the FREE mobile app for fans. The app is available on iOS and Android.
If the event was ‘Fantag Ready’ (as simple as naming the event and choosing a sport), spectators at the game or anywhere in the USA could receive 15 second highlights of the event from any and all camera angles within seconds of the actual LIVE action. If you were physically at the event, you had the added bonus of being able to ask for a highlight at any point during the live action. This notion of crowd-sourced Ask or Send highlights is ground breaking.

Fantag Mobile Capture
I was humbled on this one, well, we all were. The first iteration of our video capture screen seemed dead simple from our internal testing and the small group of ‘friendlies’ we used for feedback. The data came back and we had confused a large portion of our users. We immediately got out of the office to get clarity on the problem. After a few changes we saw the engagement numbers rise and the negative comments stop. Always be listening.
Users ignored the Fantag Button (thinking it was just branding). And, despite the fact that most of us use phones to record, we found that Fantag users wanted to be told how to start recording.
We took out the Fantag button and labelled the record button.
After starting to record, we animated the record button moving to the side, and the fantag button moved to front and center with a label. The feedback and data supported the change.

Fantag Manager App
Fanatag Manager allows teams to manage all their video for upcoming, live and past events. Once logged in users had access to all their teams, full event video, highlights and they could create unlimited highlight reels with sponsor logos and team watermarks to fulfill brand requirements when sharing.

Fantag Manager App - within an event
This screen depicts how a user would navigate through a typical event after the live event had concluded. The ability to create highlights and highlight reels after the event assured all users (especially parents) that they could still get the moments that mattered even if their schedule didn’t allow them to attend the live event.

This screen shows how we designed and developed the Fantag Manager Player to allow for multiple camera angles and how to edit and trim at the highlight level.
